I am an affirming, compassionate, coactive therapist who is empathic, inclusive and supportive. Using insight-oriented, psychodynamic, and ACT techniques, offering individual online psychotherapy for adults. Our workspace is nonjudgmental and employs practical therapies to help you live more fully, even in the midst of life’s greatest challenges.
Maybe you’re interested yet ambivalent about starting therapy but are also seeking hope. Starting therapy is both an emotional and time commitment. I’ll do everything I can to make your experience results-oriented so that you can make the most of your personal investment. Every client is unique. My approach is tailored to meet each specific need, concern, and desired pace. Therapy can change a lonely struggle into one of possibility and growth.
My hope is for you to gain insight, learn and use new skills that lead you toward improved wellbeing and greater life satisfaction. I believe that the ability to heal and change exists within you.
My work in mental health spans 15+ years of service in both the private and non-profit sectors. I earned a Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Systems, master’s of Counseling Psychology, and a master’s of Human Development. I weave all these disciplines into my practice.
Raised in LA, I’ve lived in San Diego County over half my life. I love dogs and have “JoyJoy,” a golden retriever mix. I enjoy humor, being social, walking, mindfulness – meditation practices, and music of all genres. I embrace gratitude to live in such a beautiful town and I’m privileged to passionately serve people who choose to begin therapy.
